Anyone who is interested in joining #TeamMCPSS as a teacher, paraprofessional, child nutrition worker, bus driver, custodian, or any other school support position is invited to attend. Bring multiple copies of your resume, and be ready to find the right job for you at any of Mobile County’s 90 schools.
The MCPSS Career Fair will be held from noon-5 p.m. in downtown Mobile. Principals and department directors will be available to interview candidates and to begin the hiring process on the spot, including background checks and drug screenings. The school system hired 143 people at the 2023 career fair and 93 in 2022.First-year teachers in MCPSS earn salaries that are 3-5 percent higher than state and national averages.
