Jones’ family members gathered at the house on Thursday, wearing shirts with his image on them, and talking about their desire for justice for Kordell for a shooting that police say was justified. Huntley said Jones, believing his family was under attack, grabbed his gun for protection and started climbing out of the backyard window of his mother’s bedroom.
“That’s what they tried to claim, but I think once you see the video, it’s gonna show something different,” Huntley said. “Because there you got an explosion. People inside the house couldn’t hear, understand anything that was being said. Then you got pounding on the side door. They certainly couldn’t understand anything that police said.”
