st Mobile when they attempted to stop a vehicle that was involved in the incidents. While trying to evade officers, the subject’s vehicle struck an MPD patrol vehicle. Three additional vehicles were also struck by the subject’s vehicle before the subject wrecked at the intersection of Three Notch Road and Highway 90. One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Upon further investigation, officers determined the driver, identified as Vincent Sandifer, 24, was responsible for more than 30 vehicle burglaries over the last couple of months. Sandifer was subsequently arrested and transported to Metro Jail. This remains an active investigation with additional cases likely.
