Mum and man charged with murder of abused toddler 18 months after he died

A lengthy and extensive investigation into his death led the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office to charge the pair with first-degree murder and intentional child abuse causing serious bodily injury. The pair were transported to the Chatham County Detention Center on Thursday and are currently being held without bond.Siler City Police Department said the list of injuries to the toddler "fills three pages".
