Bodycam footage shows ER star Vanessa Marquez shouting ‘kill me’ and pulling replica gun before being shot dead by cops
BODYCAM footage has been released showing the moment cops shot dead ER actress Vanessa Marquez as they carried out a welfare check amid concerns for her mental health.
The bodycam video of one of the cops shows her apartment in disarray with signs she had been hoarding.Someone can be heard telling her: “Vanessa, uh, you’re, uh, everybody's concerned for your safety.But worried for her well-being it was decided to forcibly take the actress, who appeared skeletal, into a mental health hospital.At that point she grabs a pair of scissors before pulling out what appeared to be a gun.
Marquez had posted on social media in the months before she was killed about her desire to die and her purchase of an “air” gun that resembled a Glock.
