Paramedics, mountain teams and the coastguard were called to the rescue mission which lasted over four hours
Footage has captured the moment a helicopter and rescue teams were called to Dovestones to rescue an injured man. Emergency crews were called to the incident last Monday following reports a man had fallen and injured his leg.
Rescue teams scrambled up to the area before the man was 'packaged' up onto a stretcher to be winched into the air and flown to the ground before being taken to hospital by road ambulance. The rescue mission took around for and a half hours. "Team vehicles were mobilised to the Dovestones area and made their way up to the end of a slushy track below Ravenstones. North West Air Ambulance Charity had also mobilised, but after circling around could not see the casualty.
