Horrific moment man is savaged by raging bull mastiff and pitbull forcing cops to open fire
COPS say a man was left with bite wounds down to the bone when two giant dogs played tug of war with him after chasing him down in the street
Locals told how they were woken by chilling screams as the escaped bull mastiff and pitbull mauled the man, 57, in a suburb in North Philadelphia.Philadelphia police chiefs say the cops were then forced to open fire on the dogs to save the man from an agonising death. “The cop came and shot him,” eyewitness Javier Ortiz told reporters on the scene. “The dog fell down on the floor.”

They say the bites to his arm are very, very severe - down to the bone,” said Chief Inspector Scott Small.
“When I say huge - huge. Looking like a dog that was lifting up weights and had weights like muscles. Like a huge dog,” witness Luz Diaz said of the mastiff.However, the raging dogs were clearly not scared off.“He hit the dog two, three times. When the dog see he can’t get him, he came right back up the street and kept on attacking the man on the ground.
