Jerry and Samuel Hanrahan were jailed for the manslaughter of Nhi Muoi Wai
Terrifying CCTV footage shows the moment a teenage boy demands the keys to an Audi in an attempted robbery that killed a grandmother.
Prosecutor Matthew Bean told Leeds Crown Court on Friday that Hanrahan - who was joined by his cousin, Samuel Hanrahan, 20 - then demanded the keys to Emmie's brother's Audi RS3. The court heard on Friday that Emmie called the police during the attempted robbery, in which Jerry Hanrahan smashed a window with the screwdriver. The 999 call was played, and at the end she could be heard asking for an ambulance for mother-of-six Nhi.
The actions of the Hanrahan cousins was described as their "selfishness and stupidity" by Nhi's twin sister who told them: "You robbed her of her life with the desire for a car."
