It has long been the ultimate middle-class status symbol, but with their classic casserole dish costing more than £200 , it's normally out of reach for many.So when Le Creuset slashed their prices this week and held a heavily discounted warehouse sale, fans queued for hours.As hundreds flocked to the Andover warehouse, the ensuing queues snaked for 'several miles' around the industrial estate, The Telegraph reports.
One TikTok user documented her visit, waking up early to make sure she was one of the first people in the queue. But not everyone was happy - or even managed to grab a bargain - with a few people taking to social media to complain...I was extremely disappointed to have travelled over an hour to this only be turned away as the gates had been shut early and the queue was too big. This event needs to be better organised and ticketed. What a let down.
