We had anger of unofficial resale prices, then Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing - and now fees on the official resale website are causing consternation among Oasis fans.The band has encouraged anyone wanting resale tickets to buy them at face value from Ticketmaster or Twickets - after some appeared for £6,000 or more on other sites.'Tickets appearing on other secondary ticketing sites are either counterfeit or will be cancelled by the promoters,' Oasis said.
'Ticketmaster inflated price then sold for 'face value' on Twickets with a £100 fee. 2 x £150 face value tickets for £776, should be illegal,' he added. Twickets typically charges between 10-15% of the ticket value as its own fee. We have approached the company for comment.Separately, the government is now looking at the practice of dynamic pricing - and we've had a response to that from the Competition and Markets Authority this morning.
