Love Island star Montana Brown has welcomed her second child, a daughter named Miley O'Connor. The reality TV personality announced the arrival of her baby girl on Instagram, sharing a sweet photo of Miley and revealing the Disney-inspired name. Montana also opened up about the challenges she faced during her pregnancy, explaining that Miley was breech the entire time and wouldn't turn, making her plans for a home birth more difficult.
Despite the difficulties, Montana and fiance Mark O'Connor were overjoyed to welcome their daughter into the world safely and happily. Montana, who announced her daughter's birth last week, welcomed Miley with her fiance Mark O'Connor. Miley is their second child, joining big brother Jude, who became part of the family 17 months ago. Montana had been open throughout her pregnancy, revealing that despite her baby being breech, she had plans for a home birth. In a candid TikTok video, Montana shared her determination to have a home birth with the support of a private midwife, saying: 'So we are obviously nearing D-Day and she is still breech and for me, my mindset is on a home birth and It's really hard to find people who are supportive of a home birth especially in my position of having a breech baby. Which has been really really tricky because if you speak to midwives who are a little bit older and have had their training, they are quite confident at birthing breech babies because from what I've heard it's just a different form of vaginal delivery.' Montana shared her birthing concerns, revealing: 'Yes there are risks but as there are with any birth and there are certain things you look out for and certain positions that are better in order to make sure that the baby is delivered in a safe environment. The hospital I am with, who have been incredibly supportive and have given me a lot of different options, are very against me giving birth at home and also if she continues to stay in the same positions that she has been which is footling breech, they have completely advised me to not give birth vaginally and have given me the option to book in for an elliptical .' She added, 'But a lot of the midwives that have been trained a lot more and have a lot of experience in delivery vaginal breach birth are not concerned about me giving birth at home so yeah there is a lot of conflict.'The comments section was filled with love and congratulations from fans and friends. One user gushed, 'Oh wow look! ! ! Utterly perfect, huge congratulations,' while another added, 'Smiley miley I love you already.' A third person chimed in with, 'Congratulations lovely - what a beautiful little lady.'
