A popular Montgomery area veterinarian is being mourned after an accident took his life on July 4.
MONTGOMERY, Ala. - “He was first and foremost a Christian, husband, father and leader. He took great pride in his work as a veterinarian and was extremely compassionate for the animals he cared for, but even more compassionate for all the people in which he came in contact.” the veterinarian’s office said. “He treated all people the way Jesus calls us to and truly loved others.
Dr. Frank Aman confirmed Harbin’s death was related to a scuba diving accident, but no other details were released. It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of Dr. Tom Harbin. Dr. Harbin was many things to many...Harbin, a Mobile native, graduated from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1979. He spent the next 35 years running his own practice in Tennessee before moving back to Alabama in 2016.
