A man was fatally shot Thursday evening in Montgomery.
According to MPD, on Thursday at about 6:55 p.m., MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 5700 block of Woodmere Boulevard in reference to a person being shot. On the scene, first responders located an adult male who had sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Police stated that the unnamed victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The Montgomery Police Department has launched a death investigation. No further information has been made available at this time.
