The city has confirmed to WSFA 12 News that Police Chief Darryl Albert has resigned.MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Police Chief Darryl Albert resigned from his position as chief of the Montgomery Police Department on thursday, according to Montgomery city officials.for reasons that the city has yet to disclose.
Albert became Montgomery’s 15th police chief in March 2022, after leaving the New Orleans Police Department, where he was a special operations division commander. He was only on the job as Montgomery’s police chief for two years.according to our sister station WVUE
