The Salvation Army could finally have a permanent home in Montgomery after almost two years without a facility.
after multiple attempts to relocate to a part of town that they believed would serve the community better.
Thursday morning, District 6 Councilman Oronde Mitchell called a meeting with residents and the new commander of the Salvation Army to learn more about the services offered and how they would benefit the area.
