ByMONTGOMERY, Ala. – It’s been nearly eight years since Arkeem Thomas has seen or talked to his mother, Nanette.
Arkeem Thomas remembers that day vividly in 2016. He immediately left his job and went looking for her. Even more disturbing, just days before she went missing, her coworker Rickem Samuel disappeared. They both worked at Glovis. Samuel was just 20 years old. They discovered his body days later. Arkeem said his mother didn’t talk about her relationships with him, her professional or personal ones. But he did sense something was going on. Now, he wishes he knew more.
