CommSec’s Craig James says Australia’s inflation figures will help tell the monthly consumer price index when it is released at 11:30am AEST on Wednesday. Mr James told Sky News Australia the nation was “likely” to see the annual rate rise from 4.9 per cent to 5.1 per cent. “Basically because of higher petrol prices – rose by nine per cent in the month of August,” he said. “We have got Core Lithium with earnings results coming out today. “And 11 companies from the ASX 200 will be releasing their dividends or paying out their dividends.” Presented by CommSec.
