“It's a very positive start, mainly due to our ability to defend well and counterattack,” the centre-back told Portuguese publication Record. “The game here in England is very fast-paced and if we give players like Salah or Palmer space to think and run, it becomes difficult. In the longer-term, Morato is positive some silverware can be added to the club’s trophy cabinet. Indeed, it was Forest’s rich history and the lure of playing in English football that convinced the 23-year-old to leave Benfica after five years in Portugal.
“I felt it was the right time to take this step in my career and I'm very happy with my start here,” the Brazilian said. “I believe that players always have to take a step forward in their career, even in terms of professionalism.
