, the original game’s director Hideo Kojima and art director Yoji Shinkawa will not be involved in the project in any way – with both now at the former’s Kojima Productions.

Konami’s spokesperson also confirmed to IGN that the plot of MGS3 won’t be changed in MGS Delta, and fans of David Hayter as the lead character can also breathe a sigh of relief, as the game looks set to use the voices from the original game, rather than re-recording new dialogue.

There’s no release date just yet for Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater – but the remake will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC whenever it arrives.
