It's set to be another gloomy day in our region
More rain is forecast in Greater Manchester today after a thunderstorm warning was issued by the Met Office.
Forecasters predicted that heavy showers would lead to flooding in some areas with 10-20mm of rainfall in an hour expected in some areas. Some places were set to potentially see 30mm of rainfall over just a few hours, the Met Office added. Today , more rain showers are set to fall over Greater Manchester - though forecasters predict they will be lighter than those yesterday. After a gloomy and overcast start to the morning, light rain showers are expected from around 10am and are set to last for most of the day.
