More than 2,000 people waited more than 12 hours at Lancashire A&Es last month
New research has unveiled that more than 2,000 people across Lancashire waited more than 12 hours in A&E departments last month.Over the last few months, the situation seems to have worsened. In August 1,876 people had to wait more than 12 hours in A&E.
That means the number of people facing lengthy wait times has increased by 21% in the space of just a month. In July the number was 1,749, and back in January, it was 1,429.
