More than people were killed and 900 injured after three trains collided in India on Friday evening, in the nation's deadliest rail accident in over a decade.
The incident which occurred on Friday evening is India’s deadliest rail accident in more than two decades.Response to the situation has been in “full swing” according to Chief Secretary of Odisha Pradeep Jena on twitter.
People needed help to get out of the train after it ended up on their side. Picture: Sky News Australia Vision following the incident shows hundreds of people helping passengers including some that were trapped, exit the damaged trains which were flipped on their side. India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi said his thoughts were with the families of those involved in the incident.
