More than 800 homes, a hotel and new shops can now be built next to an 'attractive' Nottinghamshire village. .
If implemented the development would create 17,434 square metres of employment and business space. Some neighbours to the site on Kingfisher Road previously said they did not approve of the plans, citing the loss of the fields and green space.Previously Mansfield District Council planning officers concluded the project would have significant benefits, despite conflicting with the council's development plan.
At the previous planning committee, Nottinghamshire County Council asked for £1,831,752 towards primary education, £1,882,315 for strategic transport, £600,000 for bus service support, £51,926.50 for waste management, and £29,951 for libraries.
