Police Scotland is investigating after a £50,000 theft at a landfill site. The force launched the probe after 800 litres of diesel went missing.

Detective Constable Craig Hartley said: "Our enquiries into this significant theft are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard anything unusual at the time to come forward.
