Bigger and better: Morrisons plans to knock down Louth store and rebuild larger

Morrisons has unveiled plans for a comprehensive development of its town centre store in Louth.

Ahead of applying for planning permission, the supermarket chain is asking Louth residents to have their say. The existing store will remain open while construction of the new one takes place. “This development offers a great opportunity to strengthen the important role our store plays in the heart of Louth town centre, and create an even better shopping experience for all our customers,” said Morrisons senior property manager Georgina French.“We want to hear the views of the public, so would be grateful if people could visit the consultation website to find more information and let us know what they think.

But before decisions are made Morrisons are keen to hear from Louth residents their views. To this end, eight and a half thousands leaflets are being sent out as well as a dedicated website.
