It comes after the brand said it was scaling back self-service tills
Supermarket Morrisons is trialling a new way for customers to shop after announcing it is scrapping some of its self-service tills. Last month, the chain said it had 'gone too far' in replacing till staff with self-service points and would bring back some manned checkouts.
The technology has been in use in other chains for more than 10 years and comes as a number of retailers are changing the way customers shop - with new technology at the forefront.
