Last night, gunmen opened fire on crowds at a concert hall in Krasnogorsk in the Moscow region, killing at least 133 and injuring more than 100. Islamic State has claimed responsibility, but the FSB says suspects had Ukrainian contacts and were attempting to flee over the border.

In a statement accompanying the image, the group said the shooting comes within the context of the"raging war" between Islamic State and countries fighting Islam.All suspects detained and attackers tried to escape towards Ukraine, Putin says "They tried to hide and moved towards Ukraine, where, according to preliminary data, a window was prepared for them on the Ukrainian side to cross the state border," he claims. A total of 11 people were detained, the president adds - with security services saying earlier that the other seven arrested were accomplices.
