According to a new survey, Kate Middleton is the nation's favourite royal. Kate was selected in 38% of answers, followed by Prince William sitting at 34% 👀
Kate shines bright as the most popular royal While 32% said he is doing neither a good or bad job, 9% said he is doing a bad job, while 10% said they were unsure.
Kelly Beaver MBE, the chief executive of Ipsos UK and Ireland, said: ‘With less than two weeks until the coronation, Charles may be happy to know that half of Britons think he is already doing a good job, numbers recent prime ministers would envy. ‘It’s a good start for Britain’s new King and something he will no doubt want to continue to work on once the coronation quiches are eaten and the bunting is down.’
The survey showed Charles’s approval rating dipped since becoming king, down from 57% in May 2022, a drop of 8%.Meanwhile William outshines his dad in terms of his approval rating Meanwhile William has higher public confidence than Charles, with 62% saying they were satisfied with the job he is doing.The couple followed closely behind the Queen in a May 2022 Ipsos poll, the final one to be conducted before her death last year.
