Knoydart Brewery, which owns The Old Forge in Inverie, will provide free beer for anyone who gets there after a 15-mile hike this summer.
A remote pub in the Highlands is to give away free limited-edition beer this summer... for anyone who is able to reach it after a 15-mile hike.
Knoydart Brewery, which owns the pub, will provide a free Trale Ale beer for anyone who takes on the challenge this summer from July 1. But the trip isn't as easy as some may think as there are no official roads to the pub. The team behind the Trale Ale say it has been inspired by the mountainous landscape of Knoydart Peninsula and the Loch which is known as ‘The Loch of Heaven’.
Free Trales will be given away at The Old Forge from July 1st, limited to two per person, while stocks last, after a partnership with sports retailer Wiggle. A limited number of non-alcoholic alternatives will also be available over the summer.
