A majority of voters believe Boris Johnson should quit as an MP if he is found to have misled MPs singharj reports:
The Commons Privileges Committee has sent Mr Johnson a draft of the report that will determine whether he will be forced to fight a by-election in his Uxbridge and South Ruislip seat.
If they recommend a suspension of 10 days or more from the Commons, and it is backed by MPs, Mr Johnson will be forced to face a recall petition, which is highly likely to lead to a by-election that could cost him his seat at the hands of Labour. Most of voters think the former PM lied about breaching lockdown rules and it’s right he should be held accountable for it.However, just one in twenty think Mr Johnson did not lie and there’s nothing to hold him accountable for.
