Everybody loves a good chippy and Glasgow's fish and chip fans can look forward to another exciting addition as top restaurant chain Mother Hubbard's makes the move north.
Offering the "tastiest fish, succulent fresh-cut chips and perfect mushy peas", Mother Hubbard's was first opened in 1972 in Bradford in Yorkshire and has since expanded across the UK. Designed to invoke the images of a chippy tea we loved as kids combined with a modern feel, the new restaurant, the first in Scotland can be found at the Springfield Quay, next to the Odeon Cinema.
The exciting new family-friendly venue features interactive fish tank-themed walls and even a digital shark tank.Opened on Friday, May 5, Mother Hubbard's Glasgow will offer sit-in and takeaway options , including their signature Icelandic Haddock and chips made using British Potatoes.
