Regan Tierney, 27, (pictured) was killed in her own home by Daniel Patten, 31, in a horrific murder-suicide in Salford, Greater Manchester in 2019.
A young mother was stabbed to death by her jealous ex just hours after she announced her new relationship on Facebook, an inquest has heard.
Her heartbroken sister, Shannon, said Patten had sent Ms Tierney a screenshot of the update immediately, even though she had blocked him on Facebook. Bolton Coroners Court was told the mother-of-two updated her Facebook status on June 4, 2019, to show she was in a relationship with a new manThe court heard the family rushed to Ms Tierney's house, where her body was discovered lying in bed upstairs, covered in blood.Ms Tierney was pronounced dead at the scene and Patten later died of his injuries.
She said in a statement read to the court: 'My sister was murdered on June 5, 2019 at her home address on Manchester Road, Walkden.
