A mother shares her grief after her son's death from an aggressive brain tumour. The young boy, diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour, passed away on his seventh birthday.
Jayden Lamerton, Plymouth, was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour on January 5, 2023, after being taken to hospital when a teacher noticed something was wrong last year. The little boy, who was a Liverpool supporter, was diagnosed with a diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma - a highly aggressive brain tumour - and he was given nine months to one year to live.
The post on Facebook said: "Happy birthday to my angel in the sky, seven whole years ago you came into this world and you made me the happiest I have ever been. At that point, I knew that whatever happened in life it didn’t matter because I had you. In December, Chelsea got a call from his school to say Jayden's left eye had "turned inwards". After taking him to hospital doctors told the family his eyesight was fine and booked Jayden in for an MRI scan.
