A mother who sold her son and tried to sell her toddlers to pay off a drug debt was sentenced to just six years prison time.
Garza was sentenced in Corpus Christi, Texas on Friday after she was convicted of three counts of selling or purchasing a child and one count of money laundering. She reportedly took a plea deal on April 1. According to prosecutors, Garza was given the maximum sentence possible for selling her children – which is just two years per child in Texas.
