The club sent teams to Edinburgh, Belfast, Newcastle, Troon, Kilmarnock and Glasgow
Motherwell Athletics Club sent a 15-strong squad to Edinburgh to take part in the Sri Chinmoy 5k race amid a busy month for the club.
Next was Michael Cushley, knocking a massive 15 seconds off his previous best in 19.03, and Alan Main in 19.29. Taking in the famous landmarks of Gateshead including Gateshead Millennium Bridge, Sage Gateshead, BALTIC, Tyne Bridge and the Swing Bridge, the race finished in the iconic Gateshead International Stadium.
Track and field athlete Eoghan Connelly won two bronze medals, running personal best times in both his 800m and 200m . Finally, five senior endurance athletes took part in the Shettleston 10k at Glasgow Green, which is the first of three races which form the Babcock 10k Series.
