Over 35,000 baby boxes have been delivered to support expectant parents across Lanarkshire.

Motherwell and Wishaw MSP Clare Adamson has welcomed new figures which show that 36,589 baby boxes have been delivered to support expectant parents across Lanarkshire .

The SNP MSP said: “The SNP is focused on making Scotland the best place to grow up. The free download features the latest breaking news and exclusive stories, and allows you to customise your page to the sections that matter most to you.“Recent analysis has shown that the Scottish Government’s approach to supporting infants, young people and their families is having significantly positive health outcomes - and the baby box is helping contribute to that.

“Some items needed with a new child can be prohibitively expensive. The baby box is making a huge difference to new families - especially during rising costs.”
