The Steelmen put Hearts to the sword 3-1 at Fir Park to pick up their first Premiership win of the season
Stuart Kettlewell says his side put in a ‘Motherwell’ performance to beat Hearts at Fir Park this afternoon.
“It’s a Motherwell performance for me, and by that it’s not to patronise anybody, but we need to have this work ethic, we have to be fully committed to what we’re doing, and the good things will start to happen. “I’m delighted with the commitment from the players, delighted with the quality, and I would have loved the clean sheet, but there’s not a lot to be too negative about what we did today.”“The result is the most important thing, but I felt it came with a really strong performance as well, individually and collectively.
“I thought in open play we carved out some not-bad opportunities as well, I thought we looked pretty strong, defensively.
