Formula 1 owner Liberty Media buys motorbike racing series MotoGP from its Spanish owners in a deal valued at £3.6bn.
Spaniard Jorge Martin led from the start to take victory in the second Moto GP race of the season in Portugal on 24 MarchThe deal will see Liberty acquire about 86% of Dorna, with Dorna's management retaining the rest of the business.Greg Maffei, Liberty Media president and chief executive officer, said the company was "thrilled" to be expanding its live sports portfolio.
