Police said speeding appeared to be a factor in the collision but it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were also factors.
OAKLAND — A 59-year-old motorcyclist died Monday night from injuries suffered when he crashed into a light pole in the Millsmont neighborhood, authorities said.Crashes and Disasters |Police said the man was riding northbound on Seminary in the lane closest to the sidewalk. As he approached Outlook Avenue he merged into the lane closest to the center median, lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a light pole in the median, causing him to be ejected onto the roadway, police said.
