Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash on A82 as cops launch probe

Mercy crews raced to the A82 outside Crianlarich this morning following the crash, and the male rider was taken to hospital.

The incident took place around 8.30am on the road just outside the village of Crianlarich, Stirling.Emergency services raced to the scene and a 40-year-old man, the rider of the motorcycle, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with serious injuries.The road was closed for vehicle recovery and for officers to carry out enquiries into the accident.Cops are now asking for anyone with any information on the crash to come forward.

Sergeant Colin Morrison said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing with anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch. Top news stories today “If you saw what happened then please make contact with us, particularly if you have dash-cam footage that could help with our investigation.”
