ENDURANCE CHALLENGE: Damian is riding from Land's End to John O'Groats in 24 hours
Derby motorcyclist Damian Ransome has set himself the challenge of riding across three extremities of Great Britain in 24 hours to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Completing this route means he could be the first person in the UK to complete it as a SaddleSore 1000, a coveted challenge that sees motorcyclists ride 1,000 miles in less than 24 hours.
If Damian completes it within the time it will be officially verified by the Iron Butt Association which is dedicated to long-distance, endurance motorcycle riding. Only 1,202 other people in the UK have ever completed an End-to-End SaddleSore challenge.
