Mason Mount picked up a muscle injury in August and is currently on the comeback trail for Man Utd again.
Mason Mount is working to vindicate the faith shown in him by Manchester United's new football structure.
Mount expressed his 'frustration' at the injury on social media and fans had sympathy because he had looked in peak shape throughout United's pre-season schedule.ALSO READ: United give update on medical department after injury crisis That paid dividends in pre-season when Mount stood out with his physicality, however, he suffered a muscle injury a few weeks into the season and is expected to return in early October.
Mount said about his injury: "During the last game I picked up a minor muscle injury. I've had it checked and it looks like I'll be out for a few games. Leading up to and during pre-season, I worked hard to get my fitness back to where it needs to be and I felt re-energised, sharp and ready.
