Imran Ahmad Khan resigns after child sexual assault conviction
Imran Ahmad Khan, theMP expelled from the Conservative party after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy, has announced he will resign, meaning a byelection will be triggered in his Wakefield constituency., he admitted in a statement on Twitter that the legal proceedings would last “many more months”.
