) - A 36-year-old Mobile man is now locked up at Mobile County Metro Jail on two first-degree robbery charges, according to jail records.
The Mobile Police Department said Cory More was identified as the suspect in two armed robberies that took place on Monday night. He was arrested Tuesday. Police said that at about 8:44 p.m. Monday officers responded to the BP station at 5473 Old Shell Road in reference to an armed robbery. Officers discovered the suspect pointed a handgun at the cashier and demanded money before leaving the area on foot, police said.
Less than an hour later, officers responded to the Chevron station at 3365 Moffett Road in reference to another armed robbery. They discovered the subject demanded money from the cashier before leaving the area, police said.
