BREAKING: MPs to vote on whether to investigate if Boris Johnson misled Parliament.
The PM is under growing pressure after police fined him for partying in breach of his own Covid rules misled Parliament about the partygate saga.
It comes after Mr Johnson was fined for attending a party in breach of his own Covid rules – becoming the first sitting Prime Minister in history to be found to have broken the law. Sir Lindsay said he had received letters from a number of MPs, including Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer, requesting he prioritise claims that Mr Johnson did not tell the truth about lockdown-busting parties in Downing Street and Whitehall.
