BRENDAN O’Carroll, the creator of Mrs Brown’s Boys, has issued an apology after making a racist remark that led to an internal BBC investigation.
The 69-year-old comedian used an offensive term during a read-through for the show's Christmas special, prompting an immediate response from the BBC.Sources revealed those present were shocked by the remark and subsequently raised their concerns with the BBC.Christmas specials, there was a clumsy attempt at a joke, in the character of Agnes, where a racial term was implied.
