Cleaning fans have shared their go-to method for cleaning greasy and dirty oven racks, and it's a total game changer
If your oven racks are looking a bit worse for wear, caked in grease and leftover food, it's probably time to give them a good scrub. But cleaning oven racks can be quite the task, often leading many to put off this particular kitchen chore.
The most popular solution among the group was to use dishwasher tablets, reports the Express. Dannielle Jade Barlow advised: "Dishwasher tablet, a bit of washing up liquid in hot water, leave to soak, scrub off with metal scourers." Caroline Brown instructed: "Put in the bath, cover with hot water and throw in two dishwasher tablets. Leave overnight and use the shower hose to rinse. Grime just falls off with a gentle rubbing."
Asdas All in 1 Dishwasher Tablets are priced at £4 for a pack of 40, which equates to 10p per tablet. Meanwhile, Sainsbury's offers House 24/7 Dishwasher Tablets at £1.49 for 30 tablets, amounting to 5p per tablet.
