There was something subversive and eerie about the schoolgirl combinations on the catwalk , which included sweeping tweed overcoats, pleated skirts and knitted cardigans in cerulean, red and candyfloss pink.
Babydoll dresses were layered with poufed shirts and blood red leather gloves, the brand’s signature fluid dresses were calk skimming or swathed in ruffles and metallic sequins. Classical silhouettes were amped up in saturated shades and Mary Jane sandals had exaggerated platform soles .and I’m really proud because it’s like coming back to school – Argento is an idol from when I was a teenager,’ Giorgetti told Wallpaper* back in January.
