A MOTION has been submitted in the Scottish Parliament to recognise The National’s series on arms firms receiving public money in Scotland.
MSP Ross Greer lodged the motion and noted the involvement of national economic development agency Scottish Enterprise in giving public money to arms firms.
"Our series, which all of our reporters and many contributors worked on, was a great example of how journalists can use their platform for good - and we are very proud of what was produced."We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
