Save The Preston Market argues the revamped market would not have the same character as the original, saying the existing market is “unique and irreplaceable”.Mayor Julie Williams, who joined a Save The Preston Market rally outside parliament house on Thursday, said council’s plan was “a win-win for both parties”.to protect the site in its current form has so far garnered more than 15,000 signatures.Terascio Jr said the council’s plan would do more harm for traders than good.
